Youth Mission Initiative or “ymiLIVE” is an online community being developed to give Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) youth an opportunity to connect and engage with the entire Presbyterian community.   regarding all things that matter the most to them – faith, family, friends and mission. 

A major focus of the launch of the site is a video challenge for youth groups to produce a video interpreting Micah 6:8.  The Presbyterian Foundation Group will establish three $25,000 endowment funds at the Presbyterian Foundation to support the youth groups at the churches that are selected as the winners. 

Initially, the voting for the video will be from youth group members, family, church members, and friends.  The 15 videos with the most overall votes will then be voted by the Youth Advisory Delegates to determine the 3 winning videos.

ymiLIVE is an online community that will grow through networking with others throughout the Presbyterian Church.  The initial communications have been targeted to the Youth Group Leaders.  Our goal is that for everyone that visits the site will refer two of their friends, who will pass it along to two of their friends, and so on.  It will grow from a grassroots level and become a safe and welcoming environment to engage in dialogue related to issues of interest to youth, mission and ministry.
