April 19:

      "Scientific Discovery and Christian Faith"

      Dr. DEREK L. PURSEY
      Professor Emeritus of Physics
      Iowa State University
      President
Presbyterian Association of Science, Technology and the Christian Faith

Should the Presbyterian Church (USA) be concerned about scientific research?  Do scientific discoveries have implications for theology?  Scientific research challenges traditional expressions of Christian faith at many levels.  Pursey will discuss some of these challenges from the perspective of  theoretical physicist who is also a Presbyterian elder.

You are invited to forward this to friends.
